Sofie - I Do What I Can

Sofie

Sofie's diaries:

"Some days I do workout, other days I don't. I may have periods when I am practically not exercising where my priorities and needs are different. When I do not get out, I do not need to tear myself down, because I do what I can and it that is good enough.

Exercise makes me happy so when possible, I try to get up early, get a quiet start to the day with a cup of tea in hand and a hearty breakfast. After that, I do some exercising before work. It energizes me to start my day off on a positive note.

Most of the time I am happy, but I can also have days when it all hits me at 200km/h, where I feel exhausted and without energy. Days where I feel like calling someone, but not being able to talk to anyone. I think we all have such days. Fortunately, I am good to remember that tomorrow is a new day with new opportunities.

If I have a long and busy day ahead of me, I like to wake up well in advance. When I do, I enjoy watching the city wake up as the sun rises. It is not unlikely that I will take a detour if I have the time, because a walk allows me to clear my head, charge for the day, and at the same time get some exercise.

I'm not a size small, and I probably never will. That's fine, because I have strong legs and strong arms. It is my body and I am proud of it. Often people compare themselves to each other, and it can decrease our self confidence. All bodies are perfect as they are, this may sound a bit of a cliché, but everyone else is already taken, so be just be yourself, its the best way in the long run."
